Meet Dr. Emily Latteri
Dr. Latteri is known for her kindness and respect, treating every patient with gentle, careful attention. She is dedicated to fostering a warm and welcoming environment, while providing high-quality care. Her calm demeanor and thoughtful approach puts families at ease, ensuring comfortable, personalized care for everyone without judgement.
Dr. Latteri earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania summa cum laude. She majored in Biology and minored in Classical Studies. While in Philadelphia, she earned a spot on the varsity softball team, was a member of the Pennsylvania Gazette newspaper staff, and conducted research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University . While in Augusta, she was a volunteer for the Equality Clinic, worked as Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper, and took advantage of additional experience opportunities.
In practice, Dr. Latteri has years of varied experience and participates in a variety of Continuing Education courses including those focused in orthodontics, oral surgery, pediatrics, and prosthodontics. She is passionate about doing dentistry that will last, function, and look beautiful. She stays current with the latest techniques and technologies to ensure her patients receive the best care possible, while putting an emphasis on patient comfort.

Outside the office, Dr. Latteri enjoys cheering on her kids in a variety of sports, including hockey, soccer, and rock climbing. She tries to keep her family outdoors when possible whether it be hiking on the trails, running around on playgrounds, or exploring the city. They attend as many Pirates and Penguins games as their busy schedule allows.

Dr. Latteri and her husband, Brandon, are elementary school sweethearts. They moved often during the first part of their marriage due to Brandon’s military commitment, when they spent time in Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina. Once Brandon got out of the Army, they moved to Peters Township where they are happy to be raising their two children, Jillian and Garrett.

Dr. Latteri grew up in a military family and moved often. She spent the majority of her childhood in Tennessee near Ft. Campbell. Her dad, Jerry, was an Army Special Forces Warrant Officer, and he recently retired after 29 years of service. He and Dr. Latteri’s mom, Tricia, have also recently moved to Peters Township, and you may see Tricia in the office helping on the administrative side.

Dr. Latteri and her husband are big music fans — they love to see their favorite bands on tour and use concerts as a reason to explore new cities. They enjoy supporting local artists and small music venues. They have also recently taken up guitar lessons.

Dr. Latteri is a proud cat person. She has three cherished feline companions at home: Apricot, a large, orange cuddle enthusiast; Flora, a curious and quietly observant tuxedo cat; and Gwen, a smoke tabby spirited with a mischievous streak.
